We’ve done it again.  Quirky’s 9th product has just made it to production:  The Cloak.

Our fresh new case for the fresh new iPad has just been green-lit thanks to a generous order from some of our international distributors.

We are working diligently set up shop/sell our products in every viable market around the world. We are doing this with the help of partners… international distributors who are well versed in their local retail markets. Their job, quite simply, is to build the Quirky brand in their home country, and get Quirky products into their local retail stores.

The Cloak has made it into production thanks to a generous order from our Korean distributor.

Quirky is excited to be in great talks/relationships with distributors all round the world, and even more excited that they are starting to kick some serious ass and help us grow our business/product lineup.

If I were you, I’d give our boy Paul Lee some serious props. Not only was he willing to trade in margin for influence, but he was willing to take the leap and get down with pre-sales. That’s our kind of partner.

Congratulations to Michael McCoy, Yijae, and everyone involved. This will be a great product. As soon as we have an expected ship date, we will let you know… obviously, we want to fast track this one.

If you’re international, and know of a kickass distributor we should be working with, drop us a line.

Great news, guys. Over the weekend, the Space Bar became Quirky’s eighth product to hit its pre-sales threshold. We’re moving this thing into production, baby! We’ve received a ton of retail interest in this product, particularly from abroad, and we’re excited to get it onto shelves soon.

A big congratulations to ideator Michael Cavada, who worked tirelessly to influence and promote his product. Read a bit about the Space Bar’s production history, then click on over to our store to order your own today.

The Space Bar is a simple, elegantly-designed desk accessory that functions to minimize clutter while providing additional USB ports for your computer. After a long day of work, simply slide your keyboard into the designated space below the shelf and store your office miscellany — keys, digital camera, Split Stick, etc. — up top. Coming back to work the next morning will be easier if you know you’re returning to a clean desk!

    Features:

    - Constructed of aluminum with durable plastic accents.

    - Can stow a keyboard up to 18″ long by 1.5″ high.

    - Six USB ports conveniently located in the front of the shelf. No need to conserve your ports anymore — now you can have your camera, iPod, Split Stick, and other gadgets hooked in all at once!

So here we are, 2pm on Monday the 7th of september… Labor Day here in the US-  Another threshold looming?
    pressys
It looks as though we may be about to hit yet another product threshold just days after a launch, this one for the Scratch & Scroll– Another Marc Zech creation which has gotten a lot of love from the Gadget Press in the last few hours.

Remember, buying a product in Pre-Sales phase earns you influence.  If you’ve already bought, you can go ahead and add even more influence to your purse by getting friends involved using your social sales link.

I say we hit this threshold before morning… Who’s with me?
