    Snow Way!

    By shirley at 9:41 am

I was dreaming of a white Christmas, but I guess the storm front overslept. NYC has been hit with a major blizzard, and we’re telling all Quirky team members to stay home if that’s the safest course of action.

The community team will be representin’ online, and you can reach us by email at questions@quirky.com, so all will be business as usual. I’m just taking this opportunity to remind our lovely community members about the importance of owning an ergonomic snow shovel during times like these. Wouldn’t your loved ones appreciate a social referral link to such an awesome product today?

    Hee!

So I sit here on this snowy day with my blue Snuggie…so great because I can type/work while staying warm!

Of course, you have probably seen the Snuggie infomercial, but if not, I have to include it here:

And now, over 4 million snuggies have been sold. I can’t help but wonder if Quirky could have the next Snuggie? I mean maybe there is already an idea or product on the site that could blow it out of the water… or maybe it’s coming soon?

Personally, I have to admit, the Pen Zen came out unreal, awesome… But anyway, what do you think Quirks? Will we have it? Or maybe the more appropriate question is, WHEN will we have it?

    Snow Day

    By jess at 12:05 pm

It’s official, folks. New York is officially in the middle of a full-on blizzard. They’re calling it Snowmageddon, and they’re predicting 12 to 18 inches of snow in the New York metropolitan area. You know what that means… EPIC. SNOWBALL. FIGHT.

Actually, all it means is that the Quirky offices are closed today. But no worries — Nikki and I will be bundled up in our Snuggies (hers royal blue, mine leopard print), working from home to answer all your user questions and concerns. Stay warm, East Coasters!
