    Meet Jeremy

    By rob at 2:05 pm

Hey Quirk-ites! As you can see, I’m still trying to figure my way around the Quirky lingo but I am very excited to say that I will have more than enough time to figure it out, as I am the new Community Intern this summer! I hope to provide the Community team and the rest of the Quirky staff with as much help as I can while learning as much as possible about social media, product development, and any other parts of the process that they let me get my hands on.

After browsing the forums and spending a quick several hours going through product pages at different stages of production, it’s very obvious to me that this community is special and deserves the best from their ambassadors. I hope I can help on this front, as I believe open communication and mutual understanding are integral parts of maintaining a flourishing online environment.

Although I’m interested in many areas, such as marketing, psychology, sociology, communications, and the humanities, my main inspiration and passion in life is music. I play electric guitar and sing (rock music, though I love to draw influence from jazz and folk) and hope to someday have the ability to setup an incredible home recording studio and spend the rest of my days recording whatever comes to my mind. But for now, I’ll be spending my days at the Quirky office, helping run one of the most unique and innovative online communities around!

    Name: Jeremy Judelson

School: Stuyvesant High School, Class of 2010 // Wesleyan University, Class of 2014

Hometown: New York City, born and raised

What Makes Me Quirky? I take absurdly long showers in the morning, often with the lights dimmed so I can spend the time catching up on sleep. I love trying different types of food, especially if there are some weird condiments around. And although I play rock music, I’m really into jazz, hip-hop, electronic, funk, soul, prog, and just about any other genre I manage to stumble across.

    #MusicMonday

    By jess at 7:07 pm

#MusicMonday is a popular trending topic on Twitter. For your listening pleasure (or displeasure – see Robert’s answer), here’s what we’re listening to on our individual headsets.

    C. France: This Charming Mixtape by Theophilus London

Jess: Ernie Halter radio on Pandora

Janet: The 59th Street Bridge Song (Feelin’ Groovy) by Simon and Garfunkel

    Jordan: Fancy Footwork by Chromeo

    Lacy: http://www.last.fm/user/neurokinetikz/tracks

Gui: Today, the Polish construction worker’s squeaking ladder. Or, Led Zeppelin IV.

Robert: I am listening to the silence of the black hole of my soul.
