Props to Ben. You handled the touchy subject of grand fathering older ideas such as the Ribbon incidence very well. I definitely see how difficult figuring out exactly what to do for this incidence can be. Since it will definitely set precedence to situations you are likely going to encounter more and more in the future. I am glad you guys are taking a stance and trying to figure out the best thing to do to avoid future issues and that you are listening to the community. As to what the best solution is, unfortunately I think it has to be a case by case basis and that there isn’t a straight rule that will solve this problem. I like the idea of linking new submission to older ones however in Jason’s case it wouldn’t work either since the ribbon concept didn’t occur until later on in the develop phases. But at least it is a start. Cheers.

Ben. I got another (and the best) way to solve the problem of putting lotion on your back while at the beach. I know you want to hear it.. get a gf or babe from the beach to do it! What do you think?
