Tammy Maddrey accumulated a collection of boots, but soon space became a limited commodity and she found herself tucking boots in the dark corners of her closet. To fix this once and for all, she dreamed up a product that allows her to hang her boots in her closet, maximizing her storage space and moving her boots away from herd to reach spaces. With the help of Quirky’s designers and a community of 2186 influencers her idea is becoming a reality. All you boot enthusiasts check out Cubby in the Upcoming section now!

Lame and
Embarassing

Not lame at all – I’m ready to buy, and I don’t even own any boots!
Family of 5 = too many shoes in the front hall closet.
A couple of Steppers (http://www.quirky.com/products/88-Stepper-Portable-Shoe-Rack) would have helped, but it was not yet in production (and pricey under the old pre-sales method).
I’ve got something hanging in the closet now that is like Cubby, but smaller and narrower – I have to stack flip-flops to get them to fit.
Cubby just might solve easy show storage in a way that leaves dress shoes looking presentable (and us taller humans won’t have to bend over to retrieve shoes..)

Heck, if you leave the boot shapers out and knock off a couple bucks, I might even buy 2!

Thanks, Stash… that looks like the one we have now – only 6″ across, hard to fit even a pair of dress shoes in nicely.

ChrisK: You can also get the larger version for $7.99

Or
- Jall ($2.99 in lila): http://www.ikea.com/us/en/catalog/products/40123457/
- Malla (14.99 in black and white) :http://www.ikea.com/us/en/catalog/products/10154558/
IKEA has a great assortment of these hanging organizers. They produce at quantity, have items on stock in 330 stores in 41 countries. It will be very hard to compete with this product.

No Ikea nearby, and onlien sources say they’re not in stock, but… I came across one at Target this week, in the larger size, for $5.99.
Couldn’t wait (the shoe closet is overflowing), so I bought one…
For my non-boot purposes, it could have had 8 or 10 or 12 chambers instead of 6. But the wider size is MUCH more useful than the narrow.
