Every Wed at noon ET, QDS blows a few product ideas wide open to kick off the design process. You can take part in that. Here’s how:
1. Topic will be posted on Mon before the Wed brainstorm sesh. In your wildest dreams, what would be the perfect way to make that product? What should it do, and what problems should it prevent? It’s a brainstorm, so anything goes.
2. Visit the Quirky Brainstorm Channel at noon ET on Wed. Log in on Ustream and throw ideas at us in the live chat.
3. Can’t join the live brainstorm? Be sure to add your comments here before Wed, and we’ll have them on hand for the discussion.

Can you do ustream video on a I-pad? if so they should set one on the table for all to see comments this would help to engage the community. They could also just get a big monitor and put the comments there to see. Bottom line is they need to acknowledge the community make it a conversation not just video show.
Is there a way for quirky to save the comment stream to post it later with brainstorm results. I like what Vicky did but I am sure it was a pain for her and allot was missed.
They need to take 15 min and just talk with the community. Or at least have one active person involved in the chat. Maybe brainstorm how to make it better.
I dare them to set a person in another room and try it from a community user standpoint it would open their eyes I think.

How about the brainstorm on ustream be just for community input, then the designers can do their thing after?
