Ready to get eco-friendly and preserve your delicious fruits and veggies? Hatch is a serving bowl that eliminates the need for plastic wrap and keeps your food fresher, longer. With an attached “peel back” top (inspired by fruit itself) and collapsable functionality, it stores foods, seals tightly for protection, keeps out those pesky gnats, and consolidates for easy storage.
David Cole envisioned an eco-friendly bowl to rethink how we handle food and its storage. Over 1,900 people came together to make this product a reality. Hatch is now available in the Quirky shop for $10.99 presale ($12.99 retail) with a threshold of 1,200 units.

If you’re going to call it “eco friendly” I don’t think you should use plastic or better yet partner up with Preserve & put some substance behind that claim: http://www.preserveproducts.com/ They are a super cool company in the US that would be great to have manufacture this bowl.

This is the best product I’ve seen so far(maybe one of mine will be the next
and bought two of them. It’s so freaking annoying to have bugs in stuff when your serving food at a bbq and if you have the lids separate you lose them or they get crud on them from the contents of the product. Really happy with the mass appeal and the real problem solving.
