So you did it. You just shelled out several hundred bucks for the iPad 2. You want the world to know, but you also want protect it. Quirky, you guys BAFFLE ME: you all said not to make a case for this brief, and what happens, you end up making a case that protects and has nothing to do with the new features of the iPad2…
I love this product: I do!!! But you guys are horrible at communicating what you want: or maybe you all have no idea what you want…

I have to go with Doug on this one, from a brief no to make a Case, we end up with this one that is “smart, covers” compatible and with the new Cloak …
i’d say we failed deeply in this brief !

I love it! OK, maybe Quirky is sending mixed messages, but the product ROCKS! I want one. but don’t want to wait for it. This product needs a massive PR and marketing push to get it out to presales. hurry, before IPad3.

Doug, could not have said it better myself, if they had opened up the idea submissions who knows what would have come out. I think this is a great product and I think quirky did a good job on it but this is the exact thing they said they would not make. Now we have something that will compete with the Cloak, both the Cloak and the Fender/Apple Case have their pros and cons but its still competitions within the same company. I’m guessing one will win. WE will see what happens.

See, the Cloak is cool, BUT, if I want something that covers the ENTIRE iPad2, then would want a keyboard included.
