Good to get rid of the mesh. When I first saw the idea I thought it was clever, but thin I was like “why don’t they just let me put my detergent and dryer sheets in the main compartment? This makes wasted space, right?” Love the idea of a foldable laundry basket
Unhampered is O.k. and I hope it does well, but it is not unique to the market place….Home Depot sells this very popular kick ass version and I don’t see any real difference between the two.
It is very awesome to see, thank you Michael for the awesome idea of the foldable laundry basket. I’ve been looking forward to replacing my laundry basket for months now. My whole family is excited as well.
I do have to say I’m not a fan of the thin plastic at all. I know its the T1 and maybe the T2 will be better but I’m just thinking about laying this in front of my washing machine and skooping out wet clothes to drop into my basket. I don’t see this holding up at all. As soon as some wet clothes gets caught on the side it seems like the whole thing will collapse on its self.
I would also would want to make sure the handles could hold a whole laundry basket of wet clothes. I think it would be bad if it broke under the weight and continuous every day use.
Im not sure if the side handles are going to have that rubber around them but if they don’t I could see that cutting into your hand, since most people carry laundry baskets on the side handles.
I’m very excited to see this become a great product and I just hope this can be successful for everyone who has contributed to this idea.
Seeing that version for the first time I can actually imagine buying one, but rather than for clothes it would be good to stick in the cargo area of the minivan for holding groceries. That way the plastic bags wouldn’t spill their contents all over the car, but it can store laying down flat when all the gear we cart around gets loaded up. Who says it has to be for laundry alone?
Good thinking Ken!! I think I would utilize it in the car for holding groceries and jugs of water from the water machine. Folds up when not in use. Quirky- make sure you market it for lots of applications…

I’m with babs.. PLEASE do not have this flemsy plastic on the final product. It needs to be sturdy!

I like Ken’s idea of making it versatile. I would not use it for laundry, but definitely in the back of the car!

I want to know the weight capacity for this basket. I want to know a few pair of jeans & sweatshirts or a load of towels, won’t destroy it.
