In December, we found what we thought was the perfect factory for Kōsoku, our new dog-friendly leash. The factory would take care of every part of the leash-making process — the metal, the plastic, the soft goods, the whole shebang. But we were encountering a couple of problems along the way, like disorganized workflow, confusion about product specs, etc. We want to cover our bases, so we’re also checking out other potential factories.
To learn more about this product, check out the Kōsoku product page.

only heard like 2 words out of nikki, skype connection is so bad I wouldn’t even bother including it

These skype videos just don’t work, you can’t understand Nikki and really any images that are sent and then recorded by another camera are not going to be able to really be that great. I think that if Nikki was on the phone it would be way better since we could hear what she is saying instead of guess what she is saying.

Is Nikki BACK in China? Or was this recorded weeks ago?

@cody – that was recorded before. I spent a little bit of time back in NYC and I’m heading back to china again on Saturday the 19th.

We’re trying out different things with these Production Reports… seeing what works and what doesn’t. Thanks for your feedback!

Always look forward to production reports, it would be helpful if we could get close-up shots of the products, they are difficult to see–either zoom in the video or show some stills, please.
