This afternoon’s staff product evaluation meeting featured some fascinating riffs and debates over the directions for Products 85 and 86. The conclusion? We still need a litttttle more info before we can make a final decision. We know, we know, the suspense is killing us too!
So check back early next week for the results. And have a great weekend!

Both the leaders, in my book, evolved alot due to influential comments. This is a round that should be absolutely receive influence credit awarded, otherwise, I see a strike in the near future. That would be Terrible timing with new stuff going on and very wise to head off at the pass.
If it going to be awarded and acknowledged during ID and in final selection, I think that will stop an outcry in the forums.

The leaders are not necessarily the product ideas with the most votes nor are they necessarily the best product ideas to move forward on. Lets face it, the finger thimbles were up on top since the contest started, not sure why and makes me suspicious but this idea has no WOW factor and it can join the club as one of a million types on the market. You also have to look at it from an investment perspective. A product that might take a million or more dollars to develop may also be excluded as the risk is too high. So don’t be dissapointed if a product that was atop of the most popular list doesn’t make it.

Well If you cant pick one on #86… just go with two winners. I’d be okay with that.

I agree with David if you need to pick two winners and split the influence go for it!

Since Q has established that there can be only one winner, they need to make sure that the runner up is somehow motivated to resubmit. Q should look at whether or not IP and first to market is more important.
