With summer slipping away, the time has come for a new wave of interns. Today, we’re pumped to welcome Eugene to our design team. With a fashion designer mom and a computer tech dad, Eugene was destined for industrial design greatness. And he snowboards! We can’t wait to see what his creative mind brings to Quirky.

What makes you quirky? I am more energetic and productive during winter. I hibernate during summer.

Hey Eugene, welcome to quirky!
We try to play nice, but sometimes we get jealous of the quirky designers…so don’t read the forums – ha.
My wife’s family lives about an hour south of Champaign. Lived near them for five or six years, so I know U of I well. Anybody who is anybody from Central Illinois goes to school there, so congrats.

New York City is nothing like Urbana-Champaign but the people at quirky is super fun and nice.!~

Welcoome Eugene: Have fun, I can tell you will be a fine quirk simply by your choice in quirky conference apparel.
Just a note: Clinton will try to win over everybody he knows for influence. He already has the quirky staff loving him. You look much smarter than everyone else though. I think it is in your eyes.
