It’s time again for a lil’ inspiration, this time for the logo design project for Trek Support.
This project is all about integrating electronics into something wearable. The images shown focus on mixing hard and soft material, displaying technology in an exciting way, and color pops that bring your attention to the right details.

Maybe I am missing something……like the inability to understand how the above would lead me into the realm of logo making….i see some contrast of dark and light, curves, color contrast, vaious textures, THE SWOOSH. Headset connected to wire, Can’t figure out what the middle thing is….a light….boom box, lazer for eye surgery, Shoe xray.
What should i be seeing here. Absolutely need some education in the logo realm.

These images are used to inspire and to give the community an understanding of what is influencing us while we’re designing the product. From your comment, it actually seems like you’ve got a good handle at pulling out some interesting details that may inspire Trek Support’s design. The end goal is to have logo submissions that pair well with the end design, so we have a cohesive product package when we launch.
I hope this helps to understand the purpose behind the blog post.
