Big week, Quirks. Big week.
As most of you know by now, we’ve been sending out emails to all of the folks who have committed to buying a Cloak, asking them to come back to the site to finalize their purchase and pick a color.
It’s a big moment of truth for all of us. It’s when people respond to this email that products get shipped, credit cards get charged, and last but not least your checks get written. Response to this email can make or break a product.
… and I’m happy to say that the response has been GREAT.
For those of you keeping score at home, since we released the email last Tuesday, we’ve confirmed orders of over 2,300 Cloaks generating over $120,000 in revenue. We’ve shattered all kinds of Quirky records here, and are still going strong!
So you all get a great big pat on the back for designing and marketing a product that so many people are this excited for. It’s really an amazing thing. I think you’ll all be very happy to have been a part of this product, especially as influence check time draws ever nearer…

So based on $120,000 in sales divided by $54.99 each I am getting 2182 cloaks ordered. Times $6.28 I think that sounds like a cool $13,700 for Michael McCoy. Nice work!!

@johngettler these cloak sales are when the product was @ $42.00 so Matt will not be getting $6.28 it will be a little less, and in some cases when they were wholesale orders a good bit less. I think he still will get around $8-10k though.

I am current (today at $2592.05) and I am the 4th one in line, I think he is more like a $13,000 or so but I could be wrong..hard to say as wholesale, previous price and current price are all mixed in. I am SOOO lucky to be part of this!
