This morning we sat down and watched Matt Fleming’s video point by point, along with re-reading all of the forum / comment discussion. We wanted to compare the results of our redesign with the major key features of the original/much loved design pitch.
We’re excited that we’ve reached near perfection, and added yet another feature which we feel will be a very useful added feature. (oh, and don’t worry we’re making this 3G/3Gs/4 Compatible)
Details will of course follow. We spent a lot of time on this product and are excited to get it into your hands soon.

Ben I thought that the original plan was to put it to a community vote or have some community input on the redesign, forgive me if I am wrong but it sounds like you have redesigned it and decided on your own without community input?
Also what does the “o” mean next to clip functionality?

We believe we have achieved everything that needs to be achieved. That said, we of course will welcome all feedback once we unveil the design, and if for some reason something is wrong or off, we will iterate just like we did through this redesign process.
The “o” means NO.

The reason I wanted and ordered several wrapsters was because it became one with the cord and I could hang my ear buds from the clip. I want the clip option. How am I going to hang the ear buds down when I’m not listening and need to talk to someone?

I saw the design this weekend while Ben was on streaming video! It’s pretty awesome and make a lot more sense now. I think everyone will like it, and it fits on your iPhone or iPod touch, I have one so I am glad I ordered a few for my nephews!

Just saw this when checking to see when the Wrapster would be available. I’m usually adaptable, but I’m like several of the other folks in that one of the main things that set this apart from other plastic wrappers was the ability to clip it on your shirt. This doesn’t do that. I’ve got a handful now that I can wrap like this. Also, there’s no way to secure the adapter end after you wrap it, it’s just hanging in the breeze. I don’t see this as selling like the previous one did. Not happy. Really really want to support Matt, but seriously thinking about scrapping this order because I know I wouldn’t use it. You need to figure out a way to add a clip. Not cool to do the bait and switch with us after getting all the commitments.

An addendum: regarding the tag line “Everyone can be happy after all”…I don’t think so. Add a clip. THEN we’ll be happy.
