Hey folks! Product evaluation is about to open up — are y’all ready to filter through SIX pages of product ideas? It’ll be a rough job, but someone’s gotta do it.
Some updates on today’s big event:
- Because of the massive number of idea submissions, we’ll be allotting each community member TEN votes, instead of the regular three. Hopefully, this will make it easier for you all to indicate which ideas you think are winners.
- By popular request, we’ve decided to EXTEND the product evaluation phase by one hour. So instead of having two hours to evaluate ideas, you’ll have three. You’re welcome.
- At 6 p.m., the team will meet up to decide which product Quirky’ll be developing. After that decision is made, we’ll rework the rest of the night’s schedule accordingly.
Two minutes to go… get ready, get set.

It would be nice to see all the ideas minimized (click to see details) so I can see more ideas per page.
13 pages is daunting.

Agreed — it can definitely be daunting. Don’t be afraid to use those sorting tools! Most commented on tends to be a good popularity measure…

Hey, I can’t find the “most votes” and “highest rated” sorting tools referred to in the Tweet…

On the product eval page, right under the buttons that say “50% influence up for grabs” and “you have 10 votes left”. See it?

@Jess
I don’t agree with suggesting to search by most commented, unless you all stop counting comments by submitter. Some submitters load there own ideas up with comments so telling people to search by that is not fair.

@McCoy: It worked for me….You DO have to steer away from some Submitters, but they usually stick out a bit.

I had to run out for a few hours, Jess. I see “Most Comments” and “My Favorites,” and all, but nothing about “Most votes” or “highest rated.” Am I missing something?
