Because of Facebook’s terms and conditions regarding promotions, we’re going to explain our Facebook fan promo right on this here blog post.
Here’s the deal:
1. Become a fan of Quirky on Facebook.
2. Click on the “Suggest to Friends” link, located just under our profile picture.
3. Suggest becoming a fan to one, five, or better yet, ALL of your Facebook friends.
4. See how many of your friends accept the suggestion and actually become new fans.
5. Return to this blog post and post a comment, listing the names of the new fans you’ve referred WHO HAVE ACCEPTED THE INVITATION. If possible, post those names 5 at a time, please, to make Jess’s life easier.

Hey guys… sorry for the confusion. Unfortunately, Facebook doesn’t allow us to hold contests on their site, so that’s why we ask that you post the names of the fans you’ve referred to this blog thread. Alternately, if you’re REALLY UNCOMFORTABLE with leaving your referrals’ names in a comment, you can e-mail them to me directly at jess@quirky.com. I would really, really prefer if you leave the names in a comment though… firstly because it makes my life a whole lot easier to run this contest in one place, and secondly because we want to keep this contest open and transparent.
Kharadriisa is killing it on the referrals… how about the rest of you? Keep on suggesting friends and posting their names to this blog, and you could win amazing prizes!

I run 2 parallel mini-empires within social media. One of them, Austin Kush @thekushdoctor is the promotional side of a medical marijuana blog http://www.kushdoctorblog.com. Unfortunately, due to the public perception of marijuana I choose to keep that world separate from Quirkalot (or perhaps Quirkalot is too “geeky” to promote medical marijuana).
