Thanks to Chris Leiter for informing me about the listing on Engadget!

I was wondering what was causing the increase in sales.
I thought the UV light suggestion was interesting as well. Maybe a future high end version? I’m just not quite sure that UV is a sure-proof method of killing germs and bacteria. Although, a light would still be cool.
Thanks again everyone!

This is pretty awesome… I am seriously going to pre-order one. Wondering why you didn’t put the usb cable on the opposite side since iMacs have all their ports on the right? Just an inquiry, not at all knocking the cool esthetics of this Apple-esque product. Well done!

Do you mean “rakin’,” or is that yet more hip lingo I don’t understand?
Ethan | 01/22/2010 5:24 PM
@Squeegee it is rackin’. Although they essentially mean the same thing in terms of metaphor. Now you understand it?
SparkBugg | 01/22/2010 7:10 PM
Well, there is “raking” it in (it being cash or orders), and “racking” them up (them being numbers units sold) . So, like Tila Tequila, it could go both ways.

I’ve been trying to find out if the “space bar” can withstand the weight of an LCD monitor for an extended period of time. Is that it’s main functionality? Or is it supposed to STAY in FRONT of your monitor? Thanks!!

Thanks for clearing that up, Ethan and SparkBugg. I’m old enough to qualify for a full dose of prescription SlangIt, but my doctor said the side-effects would make someone my age completely unintelligible. So I stick with a half dose and frequent over-the-counter Urban Dictionary. Good to know Quirky can not only make me money, but keep me young and happenin’. <– And yes, I know that word is know longer happenin' itself.

w00t! We’re only 85 away from threshold. Did some entity make some kind of mass purchase of these within the last 48 hours? The next product to hit threshold will be this one.
