The site will be a bit spotty for the next 48 hours as we begin to migrate over to the new User Interface.
You may also notice that no new account credits will be made between now and the launch of the new site. Not to worry, all sales are still being tracked, we simply need to start moving stuff over one by one. Given the importance of payments, it is the first thing to make the move over to greener pastures.
Again, all revenue is still being counted & rewards will be processed shortly after the new site launches.
Thanks for understanding, we’re excited about what’s to come.

Guys…. it seems you half know how to do the community-thing…. Don’t promise us stuff and then go all silent. That is, off course Fox appearance is nice, but we’re waiting…

Edwin, you’re completely right– we’ve dropped the ball on this one a bit.
We thought we were much closer then we were late last week, and it’s taken a bit of refining to get it to a point where we are ready to push it.
This has been a 4 month project for us here at quirky, and we don’t want to rush the finishing touches (too much), Fingers crossed for a launch of this thing sometime in the next 24 hours.
Know that we are all hear pulling our hair out trying to get this done.

like Edwin said though it would be so much better if you were more vocal with your community. If you have problems that is fine, but leaving us in the dark about them only alienates us. We don’t want or need a ten page essay detailing the ins and outs of why something is late (not saying you have done this) all it would take is a simple blog or twitter post stating that you are having delays with a project, at least that way we don’t feel ignored. We do listen, we do care but it doesn’t seem like you want to let us.
Good to read an update of sorts
I almost feel bad for wanting you to give us these updates but then I think why should I? We have an invested interest as customers and influencers of the quirky.com process and I know I personally hate being left in the dark about things. Another case in point: Scratch-n-Scroll..
I’ve been on the site a few times each day since the announced update last week eagerly expecting something new and shiny only to be disappointed, and then further disappointed at the sheer lack of updates regarding it.

Hi my name is Yannick Fahey, i have submitted my idea for product 0028 industrial design. “The Retractable Spoon Me concept”.
Since the upgrade of the site my picture for my idea is no longer showing up in the list of everyones ideas, now it simply shows a picture of a signed off tv screen instead of my picture design.
Can something be done about this ???
There are only 21 hours left till deadline is it possible this problem be fixed ASAP.
