Excellent stuff, it all looks great =]
Loving some of the more subtle additions e.g. featured influencers; success stores; product pages listing comments newest first
the list goes on..
Kickster’s product page could do with being updated though, it still has the block of text regarding the render farm failure from back in September.

Good deal. The site seems to be much more friendly to “outsiders” who may not yet know what quirky is all about. I appreciate the addition of content as well i.e. best practices, etc.
Well done.

Nice work!

Looks great, very user friendly. I was wondering what you guys were up too!

Looks good, but wheres the community forum? I still feel this is the biggest missing part of Quirky, a place where we can speak freely about the products without gumming up the comments pages.
Edwin | 01/30/2010 11:34 AM
Way to go, it’s clearer a lot (I can off course still see improvement, but that’s work
@Alan, there is a Forum, but it’s hidden a bit… it’s under ‘Learn’… (the information architecture still needs some work I guess).

Alan/Edwin-
Also note we have launched a support community / forum at http://support.quirky.com
Thanks for the kind words everyone… we’re making progress… not perfect yet, but getting there.

Found a broken link, thought I would share it if you guys did not know about it already.
It is the “Submit your Idea” button in the idea evaluation voting section right above the checkbox where you vote.
Rock on.

The forum is a great addition albeit a tad hard to find

Great job, I like Quirky even more!

Hey Quirks,
Under “Payouts” on the “Payment Info” page, the body text says:
“Suspect this needs to wait on payment revisions… that data above looks crap”
I don’t think that’s what you wanted to have in the released UI….
Sandi | 02/01/2010 9:41 AM
When will payment info be updated?
Sandi | 02/01/2010 9:43 AM
Also… when will influence % change when we order a “pre-sale” item? I ordered 4 bobble brushes and saw no change to the influence. That’s about it! Very nice site overall!
Ben Kaufman | 02/01/2010 9:44 AM
Sandi,
It’s next to get updated. Mike & Chris tell me it should be in place by the middle/later part of this week. We will keep you posted on our progress. The result will be a more accurate/efficient payment summary system.

Sandi,
Because of the nature of pre-sales.. pre-sale influence is earned when the sale is completed. In our experience with the first few products, many people don’t complete their order once a product starts shipping, so rather then give influence and then have to take it away… we give it once the pre-sale becomes a booked sale.
Sandi | 02/01/2010 10:04 AM
Thanks Ben! What you’ve said regarding pre-sale influence totally makes sense!
BTW — do you guys read the comments posted on the main page of each product? More specifically, it would be nice if the bobble brush could be purchased in sets of 2 or 4 (where purchaser would get tiny discount with the more they buy). I hope this is something you’ll consider. Hoping the bobble brush will meet threshold this week or next!
