I agree with @Helena. The part I liked about the Curl was that I just quickly wrap both cords around the unit and tie it all down with the new clip. Now your making wrap twice…more work. If it’s soft material as it appears to be, then I’ll just cut it out….maybe you can place cut-lines in it for those of us who don’t want the shelf?

See the camera wobble at 3:54 when Ben takes the pic. This tripod should have been made out of metal, not plastic.

How much is the tooling? It looks like you need 4 side pulls for the mold unless you can do it with 2 and split it on a diagonal.

I kind of like it better without the shelf; I think it looks a lot cleaner that way.
